Biography

Karen is the co-author of EU Data Protection law (Bloomsbury Professional 2018) and Information Technology Law in Ireland (2nd ed.,Tottel Publishing, 2007) . She is also the co-author of IT Law in the European Union which was published by Sweet & Maxwell (London) in 1999. She has a particular interest in data protection, copyright law and IT law in the workplace. As well as lecturing in this area she has had papers published in both academic and practitioner journals including the Bar Review, The Irish Law Times and the Law Society Gazette.
