Our Status

NCI is a HEA (Higher Education Authority) funded institution since January 2024, receiving capped funding of circa 20% of current overall revenue.

NCI does not fall under the HEA's full reporting requirements, as the College is not in receipt of core public funding, however NCI has always strived to meet the HEA's standard of reporting.

NCI's academic qualifications are validated by QQI and individual programmes are recognised by a number of professional bodies, such as CIPD or the Teaching Council.

The College also has a number of accreditations attesting to its inclusive and supporting ethos, including a Bronze Athena Swan Award and AsIAm Autism Friendly HEI status.
