How Can AI Be A Force For Good?

Join speakers from industry and academia, with technological, commercial and social enterprise expertise, for a panel session addressing the question: how can AI be a force for good?

We are proud that Minister Simon Harris, TD (DFHERIS & DoJ) will welcome attendees to the panel. Moderated by Malcolm Love, the panel includes keynote speaker, Dr Maxine Mackintosh, organiser of the Turing Institute’s Healthy Equity Special Interest Group, co-founder of One Healthtech, Programme Director at Genomics England, UK; Deirdre O’Neill, Senior Development Advisor, Enterprise Ireland; Dr Dónal Fullam, Assistant Professor, Creative Futures Academy; His Excellency Akhilesh Mishra, Indian Ambassador to Ireland; Dr Anu Sahni, Programme Director, National College of Ireland.

Note: this discussion will follow a mini-AI Hackathon (2-3pm) and commence with a prize-giving to the projects that most aptly and viably apply AI to achieving one or more of the SDGs (sustainable development goals). Guests registering for the panel discussion are welcome to also attend the Hackathon.
