NCI's Marion Byrne saw her BA (Hons) ECEC thesis project become a reality when the Early Learning Initiative's ABC Programme teamed with Dublin City North CYPSC to secure funding from the Healthy Ireland Funds. 'Place to play', a baby's play mat for use in limited space, is now part of family life for 220 babies in homeless services, supported by Focus Ireland and the Dublin Regional Housing Executive.
