Updated: Wednesday, 21st September
Please keep an eye on your NCI email address and the NCI website for ongoing updates about your return to study.
The NCI website has already been updated to display the current calendar for the 2022/23 academic year.
Undergraduates Full-Time
- For 1st and 2nd year full-time undergraduates, classes will be resumed fully in-person and on-campus on 19 September 2022. To ensure you are attending the correct classrooms, your timetable will be issued out to you w/c 12 September.
- Undergraduate, full-time courses will be delivered predominantly face-to-face on-campus with some elements delivered in blended format depending on School and programme requirements. Student timetables will reflect and clarify whether modules are to take place on-campus or remotely.
Postgraduates Full-Time
- Programmes for all full-time postgraduate students will be taught through blended delivery from 19 September 2022. This means that your classes will predominantly be taught face-to-face on campus, with some elements of your programme delivered online. Please check details with your Programme Director, so that you are aware of which elements will be delivered face-to-face and which online.
- Postgraduate students on CELL programmes should follow the guidance issued to them directly by their Programme Director.
All Part-Time Students
- All part-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will continue to be delivered online. However, some elements of your programme may be taught face-to-face on campus. Any on-campus events scheduled for Semester 1 will be notified to you well in advance, to allow you sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements.
We look forward to welcoming you all to NCI, whether you are a new or returning student. We are especially glad to hold full-time classes on-campus for the first time since February 2020. We understand that adjusting to campus life after all this time could be a challenge. NCI has very strong student support services, and we urge you to reach out should you need any support as we return to more face-to-face engagement.
