Project Metanode
Metanode is designed to be a cutting-edge platform that will harness the power of AI to create personalised, multimodal (text, audio, video, images) learning paths at scale. It will provide real-time analysis to help managers to track progress, engagement, pain points, and performance. Metanode will measure and drive improvements in the effectiveness of corporate training by aligning an employee's competencies with objectives and then analysing downstream impact via a company’s KPI's.
The problem to solve
In corporate learning, only 12% of learners say they apply the skills from the training they receive leading to a sunk cost currently estimated at $13.5m per year, per 1,000 employees.
Another dimension to the corporate learning problem is that companies struggle to measure and align training effectiveness with 46% off high-level leaders across a range of industries indicating that demonstrating ROI from employee training is a challenge.
The simple concept behind the core architecture of Metanode is that there exists a course (learning pathway) that can be constructed to suit how an individual learner learns best to maximise their potential, irrespective of the type of course required.
Metanode can be considered like a Buddy Professor that will work with individual learners to help them guide their learning to maximise their output.
The approach will construct a model of the learner to understand their cognitive ability (how their mind works) and pedagogic preference (their learning style). Then using the model help the users to meet their desired learning goals.
